Hello Everyone,
I am very passionate about food, and I want to get into speciality food production .... I have no food background, originally hold business degree with core in Supply Chain Management, from Michigan State University. I used to work as a student cook in college, and recall that as fun most working experience ... I have now some resources, that I can utilize and risk for my passion.
I wish to create a spicy spread/paste .. and wish to experiment with the seasonings, condiments, create a fun hot recipe, and then market it under my label. I have no formal culinary training, but I cook good. I dont know where to get started? What are the needful exercise like documenting, and standardizing a recipe? Where from can I learn about different seasonings, taste markers, etc.? I would appreciate, if someone can provide me with any guidance, suggestions, suggested readings, resources, that could help me in this endeavor..
