My background is technical that has all kinds of ways to protect ideas and products. I am finding the same protection in food products to be nil, based on discussions with attorneys. Anyone in this group have success in working with the larger grocers with in-house manufacturing in a licensing model that has defended their concept?
In my case, we are raising capital to fund development and in-market test, but at some point, the idea and findings will have to be shared with the channel. How do you protect it from being copycatted or them doing it without you?
