Looking for a Co-Packer for refrigerated product
Hi All,
New to the website and this discussion page. I have read through Mr Hall's book which has been very informative. What I need to find is a reputable co-packer that has experience working with Costco (or similar) that can pack my refrigerated product. I thought this wouldn't be a too difficult task with the internet these days, but I am striking out big time. Can someone recommend a co-packer with my above desires? Here is a generic description of what i need blended and packaged:
cream cheese
smoked fish
fresh herbs
packed in a plastic container

Hi Craig,
Thank you for the nice words about my book.
As to copackers, all seems okay untill you introduce the word "refrigerated." The competition for shelf space impacts production.
You might inquire of non-competitive producers/marketers of other refrigerated products. Ask them for suggestions.
