Share 'To copyright or not to copyright a recipe?'

Hi all, I have an old family recipe that I'm thinking of taking to market. After reading From Kitchen to Market I believe my next step is to take this recipe to a co-packer and evaluate if my recipe can be converted to a manufacturable form. Before doing this, I was considering getting a copyright (if even possible) of the recipe to protect it. My question is can I do this and if its even worth…
